Partielles: Incomplete Solutions, by Joshua Tyler Brown, is without a doubt, the most prolific, intense, and heart-whole book of poetry I have read in a very long time.

Joshua's exquisite style of writing forces you to think and intellectualize your own infinite depths to explore.

His self-reflected mirrored imagery, and sensitive quality of writing, is generated through a series of personal experiences, injustices, religious awakening, and love, past and present.  The genius of this 21st century poet takes you on a roller coaster ride of mixed emotions.  He grabs your heart, and massages it gently, stimulating your own perception of self, toward Incomplete Solutions.

Once you start reading, you can't wait to turn the pages to absorb more and more.  Brown's use of metaphors elevates the reader to magical, scenic vistas as if carried softly on a warm breeze.

Here is an excerpt from one of his poems, “Ode to Romance”

Sex on the rocks
and a side order of pastrami
without the tragic scenes
of emotional baggage
to go

licking her lips toward sexy new candidates
without strings
how did I ever live without
stolen moments like these
glitter in my glance
streetwalkers hypnotic trance
show me the wallet
something worth pleasure
free love amounting
to human car crashes...

Partielles: Incomplete Solutions is Joshua's first published book of his selected poetry, which he has been writing, submitting, and personally reciting during a multitude of Open Mike nights, for years.  My prediction for Brown's success, and recognition as one of this century’s most insightful, honestly fertile, truly unique, and artistically creative poets will undoubtedly be forthcoming sooner, then later.
